ECHO U11 PREMIER LEAGUE
WOODFORD YOUTH A 0-3 PARSONAGE COLTS
Parsonge would like to welcome, and say well done to Christian Klawiosiwk who made his debut today.
It was a truly
inspirational game between two clubs which showed a high standard of football.
Right from the off both teams showed determination which made for a very fast
pace of play.
Parsonage's back four,
Ayres, Benmore, Okoh and
Grigg played Woodford offside on a number of occasions. Their foresight
even resulted in a Woodford goal being disallowed for offside. However
Woodford kept up the pressure. A Woodford free kick had Chafer on his
toes. It was an excellent throw in by Benmore that found Abutoh, who passed to Yexley who
scored, that put Parsonage on the road to vctory.
An excellent decision by Chafer to take on a striker,
paid off keeping the score at half time 1-0 up.
The second half saw a
stronger Parsonage. The second goal came from Yexley
in the first 10mins. After a magnificent solo performance Yexley put it past the keeper.
We then went on to see
Pickett and Edobor both challenge the keeper, with Edobor hitting the crossbar. With only 3mins to the
final whistle Edobor's determination paid off as he
sent home our 3rd goal of the game.
Man of the match was
awarded to Mallett. Today saw a brilliant show
of team work boys, well done.
Parsonge: Chafer, Okoh, Ayres,
Grigg, Pickett, Mallett, Yexley,
Edobor, Saunders, Abutoh, Benmore and Klawiosiwk.
