ECHO LEAGUE MATCH

With the ball being off the pitch more than on it, the first half was a non event.  James Tevenan had the only chance of the half with a header just over.  0.0 half time.

Parsonage got the upper hand in the second half, and got there reward when Ross Cope’s shot from the edge of the area found its way through a packed penalty area and into the corner of the net.  Parsonage had other chances to seal the game, most notably a James Tevenan header that hit the bar and a Callum O’Sullivan shot from close range that was scooped over the bar.  Finished 1.0

Not the best of performances from Parsonage today but another win and clean sheet.  It was only after the half time ear bashing that Parsonage began to pass and once they did they took the game to UPR and deserveably got the goal.  Conner Kain in the Parsonage goal never had to make a save today and its now only one goal conceded in 6 league games which is pleasing. Although this current Parsonage side isn’t producing the type of passing football that we have come to except, it has been replaced with a combination of aggression and a will to win which at the moment is getting results.
