PARSONAGE COLTS 6-1 WOODFORD D

19/07/07

The boys from Parsonage were in total control of this match from the off.  There was some superb football played on that pitch from both teams.  Parsonage keeper Chafer made some excellent decisions throughout the game and they paid off for him.

The first goal of the game came from Edobor, after an outstanding pass from BenmoreYexley scored the second goal, and thoroughly deserved it was too, after playing some very professional football.  A through ball from Heinrich-Amenu found Edobor who scored the third.  This took Parsonage into half time 3-0 up.

Mallett opened the scoring in the second half claiming Parsonage's forth goal.  Woodford then caught Parsonage on the break with Chafer beat; only excellent covering by Grigg denied Woodford a goal.   Mallett scored Parsonages fifth goal before donning the keeper’s shirt.

An opportunity arose for Woodford and they seized it taking the score to 5-1.  Parsonage soon replied to this when Abutoh's pass found Heinrich-Amenu making the final score 6-1.

Credit is given deservedly to the Woodford keeper who made some outstanding saves thoughout the game, including a penalty save.

Parsonage played Woodford off the pitch today with a complete team performance.  There was not a boy out there today who did not do himself justice.  Congratulation boys on yet another trophy for your cabinets.
