ECHO U11 PREMIER LEAGUE

Senrab  2   Parsonage Colts  3

   This was a game of two halves which saw Parsonage race to a 3-0 lead only to be hanging on at the final whistle.

   A well taken goal from Edobor in the first five minutes should have been the making of an easy game for Parsonage.  Fifteen minutes later after some good work in midfield saw Yexley clean through unleashing an unstoppable shot from just inside the area.  This took Parsonage 2-0 up.

   Within minutes it was 3-0.  Yexley again involved laying the ball off to Mallett, who released Edobor for his second, and Parsonage's third.  It should have been all over, but Senrab were not finished yet.  Some good work from their forwards saw them reduce the deficit to 3-1.  Just before the break, sneaking a ball into Chafer's bottom right hand corner...game on.

Senrab started the second half just as they finished the first.  Only fine defending from Parsonage kept it to 3-1. Until fifteen minutes to go Senrab broke again this time hitting an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the Parsonage goal, 3-2.

   Good defending and goalkeeping kept this the final score.
