ECHO U11 PREMIER LEAGUE

Prostar 1   Parsonage Colts 5

Prostar meant business today, they came out with the intention of showing no mercy and they had attitude!  Within two minutes of kick off they had surprised Chafer and scored their first goal.  However sadly for them this was to be their only goal.

It was Edobor who opened the scoring for Parsonage in the 10th minute of play.  A perfectly taken free kick  by Mallett  soared over the Prostar keepers head, to take the score to 2-1.  Pickett scored the third, a beautiful follow up after some good play by Abutoh.

The first half was plagued by injuries as play turned into a true battle.  The boys of Parsonage were determined not to be pushed off the ball. Their strengh and display of mature football was overcoming their opponants. The score at half time stood at 3-1.

Again the second half saw much the same aggresssion.  Parsonage stood tall, and took the knocks (and there were a few).  Abutoh had a close miss when he hit the crossbar, however it rebounded to Yexley who neatly headed it home.  Chafer was tested soon after, and produced an outstanding diving save to keep the Prostar score at one.  It was Edobor who scored Parsonage's fifth after an excellent through ball by Okoh.

Each boy out their played with fire in their bellies.  You all did your team, your supporters, but most of all yourselves proud. Well done Parsonage Colts.
