ECHO U11 PREMIER LEAGUE

PARSONAGE  2   INTERWOOD  1

   A battle took place on the pitch today, between these two teams.  The game was played in horrendous conditions; however neither teams allowed the weather to dampen their spirits.

Edobor opened the scoring within the first 5 minutes of play, after taking on and beating a couple of Interwood players.  The majority of play took place up the Interwood end.  The second goal also came from Edobor.  A shot from Mallett rebounded off the keeper, and Edobor was there to finish off.  This took Parsonage into half time 2-0 up. 

   Play turned around the second half, with the ball staying up the Parsonage end.  Unfortunately Interwood managed to take Chafer by surprise in the last 5 minutes of play.

   Parsonage would like to give  warm welcome to Jake Evendon, who played outstanding in his debut today.  Man of the match was Edobor for his all round performance and great finishing.
