Newly formed Young Guns put up a great performance against 6 man Parsonage but still found Parsonage a bit to strong in all departments.

The idea behind the match was for (In Ryan’s words) “We went into this match with the sole aim of gaining valuable experience ourselves as to the level we want to be at”   For Parsonage the purpose was to get valuable match practise/fitness before the forthcoming season starts.

The score line is immaterial but nether less, Parsonage played some nice football today and never let up from start to finish despite being very tired towards the end

The pick of the Parsonage goals was a 3 man move involving 6 exchanges between Cope, O’Sullivan and Bessex, before Cope’s pinpoint cross was buried my the head of Bessex.

Young Guns are a team fielding a mixture of experienced and new players who will be competing in their first season very shortly and on behalf of everyone at Parsonage we wish them the best of luck.
