PARSONAGE COLTS  4  XCEL F.C  2

You would expect nothing less than to see these two teams try and play football the way it is meant to be played and as usual this fixture didn’t disappoint.  The only disappoint was that both teams had many boys on holiday so a game of 6 aside was played.

Parsonage opened the scoring through Jack Lawrence and Ollie Bessex, but allowed Xcel back in the game by conceding two goals.  The move of the match followed by a finish by Ross Cope put the home side ahead and Jack Lawrence netted a forth and his 2nd in the closing stages to secure the victory.

This was a hard fought, close match with the same expected when the two teams meet later on in the season. 

We wish Xcel good luck and a prosperous season in their first year in the premiership of the Echo League. I’m sure they will do very well.
