We came to Doddinghurst knowing they were top draw and they never disappointed us.  The first half was very even with few chances for either team, but the football played by both teams was a joy to watch.

The 2nd half was similar to the first but Parsonage this half  had more of the ball and seemed to be the more dominant.  Doddinghurst were happy to shoot from distance where as Parsonage tried to get the ball into the box wherever possible, with shots being blocked or off target.  Finished in a sporting 0.0 draw.

Doddinghurst are a strong outfit and a very good standard of football was played by both teams.  Doddinghurst played three at the back and with our current inability to score goals it was no surprise the game finished scoreless.  That said it was a pleasure to play a footballing side who try to do the right things.

Ow and if anyone knows of a decent under 9’s striker, please point them in the right direction wont you!!!!!!!!
